Frequently asked questions

Can complete beginners dive with you? Absolutely — many of our guests take their very first breath underwater with us. You start in shallow, confined water with a patient SSI instructor before any open-water dive. No experience needed.

Is the diving safe? I've heard about Maldives currents. Safety comes first, always. We dive in small groups and choose each site with you every day, based on your experience and comfort, the weather and the currents. Gentle reefs and exciting channels are both available — we match the dive to the diver.

How big are the groups? Deliberately small, with low instructor ratios and 1-on-1 training available. No crowded boats, no queues at the descent line.

What might I see? Depending on the site and season: turtles, reef sharks, mantas and other rays, napoleon wrasse, schooling fish, dolphins, and vibrant hard and soft coral. Wildlife is wild, so nothing's guaranteed — but South Malé delivers often.

Do you provide equipment? Yes — brand-new, regularly serviced Cressi gear, included in our "with equipment" packages and all courses. You can also rent or buy gear at the center.

Can I dive if I'm staying on another island or resort? Often yes — we can arrange pickups and day trips. Message us with where you're staying and we'll sort the logistics.

How do I get to Gulhi? Around 30 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport, or the public ferry from Malé most days (not Fridays). We'll help you arrange transfers.

Do you offer accommodation? Yes — our Dive & Stay packages include a comfortable room at our partner hotels on Gulhi, with breakfast and dive-day lunch. See packages →

How do I book? The fastest way is WhatsApp: +960 720 4334. Tell us your dates and what you'd like to do, and we'll build it around you.
